Bee Gees - How Deep Is Your Love (From "One Night Only" DVD)

Bee Gees - How Deep Is Your Love (From "One Night Only" DVD)
Bee Gees performed songs from every decade from the 1960s to the '90s. They also sang a tribute song to their late brother Andy Gibb, "(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away". During this song old footage of Andy is shown, including him singing the second verse of the song. The vocals from the original recording also play during that section. C?line Dion guest-starred on the Bee Gees-penned "Immortality". Recorded vocals by Frankie Valli are featured during "Grease", and are also taken from the original song. The album's title was originally meant to reflect the band's plan that the Las Vegas concert would be their final live performance ever. Barry Gibb's arthritis had worsened to the point where it seemed it would be impossible for him to continue playing, but he wanted to expand the tour and so they played several more shows.

Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train (Speak Of The Devil)

Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train (Speak Of The Devil)
For more info - Of The Devil" was filmed at Irvine Meadows, California in 1982. The show was part of the delayed continuation of the "Diary Of A Madman" tour following the tragic death of Randy Rhoads in March '82 in a flying accident during the early part of the tour. The show features guitarist Brad Gillis who was brought in to replace Randy Rhoads. The concert is a perfect snapshot of Ozzy Osbourne's live performances in the eighties with dramatic staging and masses of energy with a setlist based around his first two solo albums and a few Black Sabbath classics. Ozzy has always been one of heavy metal's great frontmen and, despite the difficult circumstances, this show captures him at his absolute best. All aboard! Ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaa! Ay, Ay, Ay, Ay, Ay, Ay, Ay Crazy, but that's how it goes Millions of people living as foes Maybe it's not too late To learn how to love And forget how to hate Mental wounds not healing Life's a bitter shame I'm going off the rails on a crazy train I'm going off the rails on a crazy train Let's Go! I've listened to preachers I've listened to fools I've watched all the dropouts Who make their own rules One person conditioned to rule and control The media sells it and you live the role Mental wounds still screaming Driving me insane I'm going off the rails on a crazy train I'm going off the rails on a crazy train I know that things are going wrong for me You gotta listen to my words Yeah Heirs of a cold war That's what we've become Inheriting troubles I'm mentally numb Crazy, I just cannot bear I'm living with something' that just isn't fair Mental wounds not healing Who and what's to blame I'm going off the rails on a crazy train I'm going off the rails on a crazy train

Lynyrd Skynrd - Sweet Home Alabama (From "Sweet Home Alabama" DVD)

Lynyrd Skynrd - Sweet Home Alabama (From "Sweet Home Alabama" DVD)
Skynyrd are the ultimate Southern Rock band. Their signature three guitar attack coupled to superb songwriting and massive on stage charisma has rightfully earned them a reputation as one of the greatest live bands of all time. The original band infamously had their career cut short by a disastrous plane crash in 1977 which took the lives of three members plus two of their road crew and seriously injured several others. In 1987 the surviving members reformed the band with Johnny Van Zant taking the place of his brother Ronnie. This concert from 1996 captures the band on top form at Rockpalast's Loreley Festival on 23 June 1996. Tracklisting: 1) Working For MCA 2) I Ain't The One 3) Down South Junkin' 4) Double Trouble 5) I Know A Little 6) Saturday Night Special 7) Swamp Music 8) What's Your Name 9) That Smell 10) Simple Man 11) Gimme Three Steps 12) Call Me The Breeze 13) Sweet Home Alabama 14) Free Bird Bonus Features: As a real treat for Lynyrd Skynyrd fans we have three tracks from the Hamburg Musikhalle on 5 December 1974 featuring the original line-up of the band performing their three best known songs: 1) Working For MCA 2) Free Bird 3) Sweet Home Alabama 1, 2, 3 Turn it up Big wheels keep on turning Carry me home to see my kin Singing songs about the Southland I miss Alabama once again And I think it's a sin, yes Well, I heard Mr. Young sing about her Well, I heard ol' Neil put her down Well, I hope Neil Young will remember A Southern man don't need him around anyhow Sweet home Alabama Where the skies are so blue Sweet home Alabama Lord, I'm coming home to you In Birmingham they love the governor, boo boo boo Now we all did what we could do Now Watergate does not bother me Does your conscience bother you? ZZ Top - La Grange (From "Double Down Live)
For more info - Down Live is a 2 DVD set from ZZ Top combining shows from 1980 and 2008. Disc one was filmed at the Grugahalle in Essen, Germany for the Rockpalast TV series. Hot on the heels of their classic Deguello album (it features 9 of the 10 songs from it) the show finds ZZ Top before sequencers and synthesizers epitomising their lil ol blues band from Texas nickname. Complimented by tracks drawn predominantly from their Tres Hombres and Fandango! albums this is a true best of ZZ Top in the seventies. Disc Two was shot during their European tour in 2008 and combines great live performances, interview clips and back stage footage to create the ultimate ZZ Top on the road movie. With nearly 30 years between the performances the two disc set gives a fascinating then and now insight into what has maintained the ZZ Top live phenomenon. Rumour spreadin' a-'round in that Texas town 'bout that shack outside La Grange and you know what I'm talkin' about. Just let me know if you wanna go to that home out on the range. They gotta lotta nice girls ah. Have mercy. A haw, haw, haw, haw, a haw. A haw, haw, haw. Well, I hear it's fine if you got the time and the ten to get yourself in. A hmm, hmm. And I hear it's tight most ev'ry night, but now I might be mistaken. hmm, hmm, hmm.

For more info - Download: November 1981, with Under Pressure topping the charts in the UK, Queen arrived in Montreal following dates in Japan and their record-breaking tour of Latin America. their record-breaking South American tour, the Montreal shows on 24 and 25 November 1981 were to be the only concerts by Queen ever shot on film - indeed they were the first group to shoot an entire show in full cinema format 35mm. "Hello Montreal...long time no see. The Rolling Stones - Beast of Burden (from "Some Girls, Live in Texas '78")
For more info - their partnership with the greatest rock 'n' roll band in the world, Eagle Rock Entertainment have announced the DVD and Blu-Ray release of The Rolling Stones'Some Girls Live in Texas 1978'. Available for the first time ever from 21 November 'Some Girls Live in Texas 1978' features Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood and Bill Wyman live in concert during the 1978 US tour which followed the release of their groundbreaking album Some Girls. 'Some Girls Live in Texas 1978' comes hot on the heels of the huge success of 2010's 'Stones in Exile' and 'Ladies & Gentlemen' and marks the next stage in the Eagle Vision / Rolling Stones enterprise. 'Some Girls Live in Texas 1978' will be available on four different formats: DVD, Blu-Ray plus special edition DVD + CD and Blu-Ray + CD digipack presentations including a reproduction tour programme. Bonus features on all formats will include a new interview with Mick Jagger. Worldwide theatrical distribution deals including the UK will be announced soon. Capturing The Rolling Stones at their live best, and fully restored to the highest level of picture and sound quality, 'Some Girls Live in Texas 1978' was filmed at the Will Rogers Memorial Centre in Forth Worth, Texas on 18 July 1978 on what many fans consider to be one of the band's greatest tours. This was due to the band's 'back to basics' approach both musically and visually, as the shows were stripped back compared to previous tours, harnessing the new punk rock attitude of the late 70s. Showcasing many songs from the Some Girls album, celebrated for being the Rolling Stones' most direct and diverse collection of music, and which by the time the band arrived in Texas, had gone to the top of the US charts, this concert demonstrates the sheer force and raw energy of The Rolling Stones live on stage.

Queen were joined by some of the greatest musical talent in the world to celebrate Freddie's life and work and to increase public awareness of AIDS, the disease that had prematurely ended his life the previous year. As well as being great entertainment, the concert raised a huge and still growing sum of money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust, a charity formed at the time whose charter is the relief of suffering from AIDS throughout the world. Now for the first time both halves of the concert are being made available on Digital video. Special guests include David Bowie, Gary Cherone, Roger Daltrey, Def Leppard, Joe Elliot, Extreme, Bob Geldof, Guns 'n' Roses, James Hetfield, Ian Hunter, Tony Iommi, Elton John, Annie Lennox, Metallica, George Michael, Liza Minnelli, Robert Plant, Mick Ronson, Axl Rose, Seal, Slash, Lisa Stansfield, Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Young & Zucchero. ZZ Top - Just Got Paid (From "Double Down Live - 1980")
I just got paid today, Got me a pocket full of change. Said, I just got paid today, Got me a pocket full of change. If you believe like workin' hard all day, Just step in my shoes and take my pay. I was born my papa's son, When I hit the ground I was on the run. I had one glad hand and the other behind. You can have yours, just give me mine. When the hound dog barkin' in the black of the night, Stick my hand in my pocket, everything's all right. I just got paid today, Got me a pocket full of change. Said, black sheep, black, do you got some wool? Yes, I do, man, my bag is full. It's the root of evil and you know the rest But it's way ahead of what's second best.

DVD: Audio: was formed by Ritchie Blackmore in 1975 after he left Deep Purple at the height of their fame. They were instantly successful and released a string of hit albums, with an ever changing line-up, between 1975 and 1983 when Blackmore broke up the group to join the reformed Deep Purple. This concert from their European tour in 1977 features the line-up responsible for the "Long Live Rock'n'Roll" album released later that year, including vocalist Ronnie James Dio and drummer Cozy Powell. Blackmore had to be smuggled out of Austria after a trouble with the police at a gig two nights earlier and was very late arriving in Munich, all of which seemed to inspire both the band and the audience to create a truly remarkable gig.

This track is from the full concert DVD "One Night In Dublin", out now on Eagle Vision. Guess who just got back today? Those wild-eyed boys that had been away Haven't changed, haven't much to say But man, I still think those cats are great They were asking if you were around How you was, where you could be found I told them you were living downtown Driving all the old men crazy The boys are back in town You know the chick that used to dance a lot Every night she'd be on the floor shaking what she'd got Man when I tell you she was cool, she was red hot I mean she was steaming That night over at Johnny's place Well this chick got up and she slapped Johnny's face Man we just fell about the place If that chick don't want to know, forget her Friday night they'll be dressed to kill Down at Dino's bar and grill The drink will flow and blood will spill If the boys want to fight, you'd better let them That jukebox in the corner blasting out my favorite song The nights are getting warmer, it won't be long It won't be long till summer comes Now that the boys are here again

Mike And The Mechanics - Living Years (Live At Shepherds Bush)

Mike And The Mechanics - Living Years (Live At Shepherds Bush)
For more info - & The Mechanics was formed in 1985 by Mike Rutherford of Genesis as a separate project to run alongside his work with Phil Collins and Tony Banks. They released their eponymous debut album the same year featuring vocals from both Paul Carrack (ex of Ace) and Paul Young (ex of Sad Caf?) and had an immediate hit with Silent Running. This was followed a string of further hit singles and albums as gaps in the Genesis schedule permitted. In 2004 the band reunited for the first time since the sad death of Paul Young in 2000 and released a new studio album Rewired. With Paul Carrack now handling all the lead vocals they went out on the road across Europe, culminating in this outstanding performance at London's Shepherds Bush Empire. This track is from the live DVD "Live at Shepherds Bush, London", available now from Eagle Vision. Every generation Blames the one before And all of their frustrations Come beating on your door I know that I'm a prisoner To all my Father held so dear I know that I'm a hostage To all his hopes and fears I just wish I could have told him in the living years Crumpled bits of paper Filled with imperfect thoughts Stilted conversations I'm afraid that's all we've got You say you just don't see it He says it's perfect sense You just can't get agreement In this present tense We all talk a different language Talkin' in defense Say it loud, say it clear You can listen as well as you hear It's too late when we die To admit we don't see eye to eye So we open up a quarrel Between the present and the past We only sacrifice the future It's the bitterness that lasts So Don't yield to the fortunes You sometimes see as fate It may have a new perspective On a different date And if you don't give up, and don't give in You may just be O.K. Say it loud, say it clear You can listen as well as you hear It's too late when we die To admit we don't see eye to eye I wasn't

Tupac - How Do You Want It (Live at the House of Blues)
Tupac Shakur is one of the most dominant figures in the history of hip hop. His recording career lasted just five years from 1991 to his murder in a drive-by shooting in 1996 but established a body of work of an exceptionally high standard which achieved massive commercial success. Since his death there have been a number of posthumous DVD releases variously purporting to tell the "story" of Tupac Shakur through interviews and documentary footage. This film is different and captures the sheer raw excitement of Tupac live in concert. Definitely not for the faint hearted, the show contains Tupac delivering his strongly held opinions direct to the audience and Snoop holding forth on sex and drugs with his usual gathering of suitably dressed women. Definitely not for the faint hearted, the show contains Tupac delivering his strongly held opinions direct to the audience and Snoop holding forth on sex and drugs with his usual gathering of suitably dressed women.

It didn't take long before Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Ian Stewart were joining in on stage and later Buddy Guy and Lefty Dizz also played their part. It was a unique occasion that was fortunately captured on camera. Now, restored from the original footage and with sound mixed and mastered by Bob Clearmountain, this amazing blues night is being made available in an official release for the first time.

Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer (Live in Athens 1987) ~1080p HD
Digital: October 1987 after many months on the road, it was in the elevated surroundings of the hillside open-air theatre at Lycabettus overlooking Athens, that the "So" tour came to a climactic close. The three nights were filmed in what was the first-ever Peter Gabriel concert to be committed to film. As a concert film, it was brilliantly shot and has now been equally brilliantly remastered, a crystal-clear record of Gabriel and band in their mid-80s pomp. The viewer is placed right in the heart of the action all the way, from the band's synchronised choreography on opening number "This Is The Picture", right through to the skin-pricking closer "Biko". In between, we're lost in music, spellbound by the spectacle, totally absorbed by the imperfection-free tightness of a band that's been on the road for so long.
