Nomfundo Xaluva took the Metro award this year for best ubran jazz album. This is the second time she took this award, the last time was back in 2014. She joins us in studio to perform a song off her album that took the award.

Bee Gees performed songs from every decade from the 1960s to the '90s. They also sang a tribute song to their late brother Andy Gibb, "(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away". During this song old footage of Andy is shown, including him singing the second verse of the song. The vocals from the original recording also play during that section. C?line Dion guest-starred on the Bee Gees-penned "Immortality". Recorded vocals by Frankie Valli are featured during "Grease", and are also taken from the original song. The album's title was originally meant to reflect the band's plan that the Las Vegas concert would be their final live performance ever. Barry Gibb's arthritis had worsened to the point where it seemed it would be impossible for him to continue playing, but he wanted to expand the tour and so they played several more shows.

The show was part of the delayed continuation of the "Diary Of A Madman" tour following the tragic death of Randy Rhoads in March '82 in a flying accident during the early part of the tour. The show features guitarist Brad Gillis who was brought in to replace Randy Rhoads. The concert is a perfect snapshot of Ozzy Osbourne's live performances in the eighties with dramatic staging and masses of energy with a setlist based around his first two solo albums and a few Black Sabbath classics. Skynyrd are the ultimate Southern Rock band. Their signature three guitar attack coupled to superb songwriting and massive on stage charisma has rightfully earned them a reputation as one of the greatest live bands of all time. The Uprising Tour ran in Europe from May 30th to July 13th 1980 with five further dates in the USA in September. DVD: DVD+2CD: CD Digital Video It was Bob Marley’s last tour before his tragically early death in May 1981 at the age of just 36. The tour was in support of the “Uprising” album released on June 10th 1980. A few days later on June 13th the live show from Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle was filmed for the famous German music TV series Rockpalast and is presented here for the first time with footage restored to the best possible quality. Bob Marley and the Wailers are on superb form and deliver a set of hit singles and classic album tracks. Marley’s energetic, charismatic performance gives no indication that he was already ill with the cancer that would take his life less than a year later. For more info - at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California in 1982, this concert was the last date on "Farewell Tour". It was an emotional night and would be the last gig for 5 years. The set contained all their best loved hits and they were joined by founder member Tom Johnston for the last two tracks, with former members John Hartman (also from the original line-up), Tiran Porter and Michael Hossack coming on stage for the celebratory finale of "Listen To The Music". The band are in fantastic form and rise to the occasion magnificently, they can rarely have delivered a better performance throughout their distinguished career. This is the first time the audio of their actual final concert has been available. On CD format, four additional tracks from the concert have also been reinstated as bonus tracks. Thirty years later, in September 1999, Deep Purple and the London Symphony Orchestra returned to the same venue for the concerto's second performance. On 22 November 1981, in the middle of their mammoth American tour, the Rolling Stones arrived in Chicago prior to playing 3 nights at the Rosemont Horizon. Long influenced by the Chicago blues, the band paid a visit to Buddy Guy's club the Checkerboard Lounge to see the legendary bluesman perform. It didn't take long before Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Ian Stewart were joining in on stage and later Buddy Guy and Lefty Dizz also played their part. It was a unique occasion that was fortunately captured on camera. Now, restored from the original footage and with sound mixed and mastered by Bob Clearmountain, this amazing blues night is being made available in an official release for the first time.

Their association with Montreux goes back to the early seventies when their attempt to record their album "Machine Head" at the Montreux Casino was thwarted when it promptly burnt down forcing them to make the album in the rooms and corridors of the Grand Hotel instead. The story was of course immortalised in their classic song "Smoke On The Water" which is the climax of this 1996 concert from the Montreux festival.

Gary Moore was one of the finest British guitarists of all time and is one of the few players who could pay homage to Jimi Hendrix's groundbreaking and truly distinctive guitar style. The Japanese fans came out in their droves and Aerosmith responded with some of the finest gigs of their distinguished career. The three nights were filmed in what was the first-ever Peter Gabriel concert to be committed to film. As a concert film, it was brilliantly shot and has now been equally brilliantly remastered, a crystal-clear record of Gabriel and band in their mid-80s pomp. The viewer is placed right in the heart of the action all the way, from the band's synchronised choreography on opening number "This Is The Picture", right through to the skin-pricking closer "Biko". “Three Sides Live” was filmed in November 1981 on the “Abacab” tour in North America DVD: Blu-Ray: Digital Version coming soon. Originally released on VHS to coincide with the live album of the same name. It has only ever been released digitally. Originally filmed in 16mm, the footage has now been fully restored and is being reissued. The show focuses on tracks from the “Duke” and “Abacab” albums and the tracks are intercut with behind the scenes footage and interviews with the band members. As ever with Genesis, the show is visually stunning and it captures the band in their transition from their progressive days in the seventies through to the hugely successful pop/rock act they became from the mid-eighties onwards. Roy Wood soon left to form Wizzard and Jeff Lynne lead ELO on to become one of the biggest selling acts of the seventies and eighties with global album sales in excess of 50 million. This DVD brings together three live concerts from the earlier part of the band's career. The first is a four track excerpt from a show at Brunel University in 1973, the second a longer eight track set filmed for the German TV series Rockpalast in 1974 and finally the Fusion concert from the New Victoria Theatre in London in 1976, filmed during the "Face The Music" tour. 1974 was a year of high achievement for Queen.
